This position directly supports the Department’s compliance with State and Federal financial accounting and reporting and the Prompt Pay Act by providing functional and technical support of the Division of Finance’s applications.
This position directs and/or may be identified as a senior team member that participates in coordinating information technology staff to support the assigned functions for the assigned projects and tasks. This includes the maintenance of systems and management of issue resolution. The Systems Analyst provides strategic direction to improve processes, systems, and operations. Coordinates with Financial Systems, Division of Finance (DOF), Division of Information Technology Services (DIS), and other technical staff to determine project scope and provide level of effort estimates.
The incumbent provides expert guidance and makes recommendations for effective utilization of Oracle eBusiness features to address the objectives and business processes of the Finance Division.
