TEMP Grounds Worker

The Trades Technician I role provides career tracks for trades technicians, such as grounds workers or trades/utilities workers, that perform a variety of tasks ranging from routine and unskilled to semi-skilled tasks. Duties are incidental and/or preparatory to grounds keeping, trades and/or maintenance tasks. May assist higher-level trades technicians or higher-level craft personnel who are performing a combination of trades assignments.

• Applies knowledge of methods and general procedures of applicable trade or grounds maintenance techniques.
• Applies and develops basic skills in procedures, techniques, tools, materials and/or equipment appropriate to area.
• In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education: High School diploma

Experience: None.

Licensure: None.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Employee will be required to lift various weights, climb ladders and stairs in order to complete jobs. The use of both hands and a repetitive motion will be required while performing duties.
