Job Duties

Support facility mission by maintaining grounds, streets, sidewalks, and parking lots in a safe and aesthetic manner. Perform preventive maintenance on facility owned and pool vehicles, grounds equipment and other designated gas- and diesel-powered equipment.

Minimum Qualifications

• Valid Drivers' License is required.

Additional Considerations

• Ability to use hand tools such as shovels, rakes
• High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Knowledge on operating vehicles or powered equipment such as lawnmowers,
snowblowers
• Ability to work in variable environmental conditions (e.g. hot and cold weather)
• Customer service skills
• Knowledge/skill in utilizing grounds-keeping equipment and herbicides, fertilizers,
pesticides, etc., in a safe and efficient manner.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision after receiving clear and concise instruction
from supervisor.
