Description of Position
Adjunct professors for the VCUarts Department of Photography + Film provide course instruction in any of the following areas: analog and digital photography, lighting, digital video, or composition and design principles. Our courses can require in-person teaching or online instruction. Adjunct faculty members will be expected to (1) use our course management system (Canvas) and any textbook-specific systems; (2) hold regular office hours to meet with students.

Qualifications
- Terminal degree in a related field, or training and professional experience that equates to a terminal degree.
- Appropriate teaching experience and/or strong oral presentation and communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff and student environment or commitment to do so as a faculty member at VCU.
