General Information:

James Madison University’s Facilities Management Department is accepting applications for multiple Temporary Summer Housekeeping Workers. Positions work up to 40 hours per week. Typical work schedule is Monday – Thursday 6:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. and Friday 6:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform regular and special cleaning of assigned areas using manual tools and power equipment such as vacuums and auto scrubbers.

 

Qualifications:

Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and perform physically demanding job duties.
Must be 15 years of age or older by the start date.
Housekeeping experience is helpful.

 

Conditions of Employment:  

Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a criminal background check.

These are part-time wage positions with no benefits.
