General Information:

James Madison University, a Division 1 member of the NCAA and Sun Belt Conference, is accepting applications for Athletic Operations Assistants within the Athletics Facilities and Events department. Under the direction of the Assistant Director of Facilities and Events, this position will be responsible for assisting with the game operations of all varsity athletic events and other special events within the JMU Athletics venues.
This posting will be used to fill multiple openings for this position.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide event operational support for athletic and special events
  
  
• Work evening and/or weekend hours as necessary
  
  
• Duties may include: ticket scanning, event setup, crowd control, customer service, etc.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

• Ability to provide excellent customer service
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to move up to 25 pounds
• Willingness to work morning, evening, and/or weekend hours

Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a criminal background check.

This is a part-time wage position working up to an average of 29 hours per week over the course of a calendar year with no benefits.
