Job Duties
This position will manage, review, and process Accounts Payable (A/P) for the campus in accordance with established policies and procedures and state guidelines. This position will ensure that financial data is maintained and reported in accordance with state and federal guidelines.
-Working knowledge of accounting procedures required (Accounts Payable, Fund Accounting).
-Working knowledge of automated financial systems required.
-Auditing/verification skills ability to key data accurately and efficiently required.
-Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office Suite required.
-Ability to work in a complex environment with little supervision.
-Excellent mathematical skills, good communication and verification skills.
-Demonstrated ability to prepare fiscal reports.
-Working knowledge of state and hospital procurement procedures and state and federal guidelines
Minimum Qualifications
- Working knowledge of accounting procedures, especially accounts payable/voucher processing
- Working knowledge and/or experience with automated financial systems
- Auditing/verification skills; ability to key data accurately and efficiently
- Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and formulas)
Additional Considerations
- Working knowledge/experience in state accounting policies/procedures preferred
- Report preparation/creating and maintaining spreadsheets preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Ability to work in a complex environment with little supervision preferred
- Business/accounting degree and/or college level classes preferred

PGH is a facility operated by the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services (DBHDS). PGH is a 123-bed psychiatric facility and the only facility that exclusively serves individuals over the age of 65.
