Job Description:
New River Community College (NRCC) is a comprehensive community college located in the New River Valley of Virginia. Teach online or in-person computer science (CSC) courses at the college, including preparing materials, supporting student learning, and recording and submitting grades. Available courses include:
CSC 221 - Introduction to Problem Solving and Programming (Python)
CSC 222 - Object Oriented Programming (Java)
CSC 223 - Data Structures and Analysis of Algorithms (Java)
CSC 208 - Introduction to Discrete Structures

- Master's degree in computer science or master's degree with 18 graduate semester hours in computer science
- Effective communication in teaching and learning situations
- Teaching experience in a higher education environment
- Experience teaching online courses
