Job Duties
The Mechanical Engineering Department at the Virginia Military Institute (VMI) invites applications for an adjunct faculty position whose primary responsibilities will be to instruct freshmen level Cadets on the use and applications of Solid Modeling.
The Mechanical Engineering program is ABET accredited and is wholly undergraduate.
VMI is a public, four-year undergraduate military college for men and women (1500 students) located in the historic Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. More information about the VMI can be found at http://www.vmi.edu
Minimum Qualifications
Applicants for this position are required to have significant work experience with the SolidWorks computer-aided design package.
Additional Considerations
Preference will be given to candidates who either have completed 18 graduate credit hours or a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or in a closely related field.
