Job Duties

Excellent clinical knowledge and skill and the demonstrated ability to coordinate, delegate, communicate and problem solve; ability to evaluate both patient care and staff performance; ability to instruct & train patients and staff; complete and maintain current in CPR. Possess knowledge of Infection Control & Quality Assurance guidelines. Possess basic knowledge of computer software & have the ability to use the computer.

Minimum Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing and licensed as a registered nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Active licensure is a condition of employment. Must meet all requirements for maintaining license. Previous professional nursing experience in a long term care or adult geriatric setting desirable; experience in leadership and management preferred. CPR certification required upon hire or willing to obtain.
