Job Description

Assist in the management of D2, DXpress and Deet's dining center under the direction of the Operations Manager. Responsibilities include assisting with execution of menu plan, personnel plan, customer relations, sales and register transactions, safe and deposit management, safety and sanitation, and the maintenance and security of the building and equipment. Assist in the supervision, counseling, training and development of employees. Ensures all policies and procedures are followed. Ensures a high level of customer service at all times in the dining facility. Creates performance plans and completes evaluations for salaried direct reports.

Required Qualifications

• Working knowledge of commercial kitchen and food service operations.
• Supervision and management experience in a multiple item menu, food service establishment required.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations, safe food handling practices, and food sanitation.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel and public and excellent customer services skills.
• Demonstrated knowledge of computers including Windows, Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, automated payroll, and automated food inventory systems.
• Previous experience operating an electronic cash register and accurately exchanging cash and debit card tender.

Preferred Qualifications

• ServSafe certification and HACCP certification desired.
• Food Service or Nutrition as area of educational study desired.

Salary $42,000 - $45,000/year and commensurate with experience

Additional Information

 

The successful candidate will be required to have a criminal conviction check as well as a driving check with a safe driving record.

Workdays will be Monday, Thursday, Friday, Sunday from 5:30pm to 4:00am, with Saturday, Tuesday, and Wednesday off.
