Assistant or Associate Professor, Physical and Medicine & Rehabilitation

The Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Virginia seeks candidates for a tenure-ineligible Assistant or Associate Professor position focusing on interventional spine services in an outpatient setting. The successful candidate must be proficient in interventional spine procedures and treatments. The candidate will also provide, on a rotational basis, night and weekend coverage in the UVA Encompass Health JV Rehabilitation Hospital.

Qualifications

The qualified candidate must have a MD or DO and be board-certifed or board-eligible by the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. The incumbent must be committed to a career in academic medicine and interested in combining clinical practice with resident education and/or research.
