For more than three decades, the Virginia Lottery has worked to build a strong reputation, one synonymous with providing fun, entertaining experiences and doing so responsibly and with integrity. Proceeds from traditional Lottery games support K – 12 public education in Virginia. Taxes generated by sports wagering and casino gaming, which are regulated by the Lottery, benefit other priorities of the Commonwealth. The Virginia Lottery is currently seeing a Casino Compliance Lead to join its Gaming Compliance team.
The Casino Compliance Lead is responsible for leading Casino Compliance Representatives in performing casino procedure observations, compliance inspections and investigations to ensure casino operators’ continuous compliance with applicable state laws and regulations and VA Lottery approved casino operators’ policies and procedures. In addition, this position will be performing the following on-site: fingerprinting casino employment applicants, receiving and reporting complaints from the public and assisting individuals who wants to voluntarily exclude themselves from gaming. Employees in this classification are essential employees and must be willing to work rotating shifts as required to ensure adequate coverage at the designated casino.
