Richard Bland College (RBC) is a two-year, residential, liberal arts transfer institution that focuses on preparing students for transfer to highly ranked colleges and universities. The College is a hidden gem located outside the Tri-Cities region—and its rural setting featuring 750+ acres of wetlands, bucolic forest, and the state’s oldest and largest pecan grove.
RBC has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Compliance & Reporting Coordinator. Reporting to the Data & Compliance Officer, this position will assist in the coordination of policy review, data collection and reporting, compliance reporting, and general tasks of the Office of Institutional Effectiveness.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
*Assist with the monitoring and maintenance of compliance reporting standards including but not limited to SACSCOC and SCHEV *Maintain an up-to-date record of institutional policies related to compliance reporting *Communicate with various stakeholders to ensure compliance status *Coordinate an institutional calendar for the annual review of accreditation standards across various departments *Coordinate with various departments to ensure the completion of compliance reports * Draft and develop final reports for mandated compliance reports *Input data obtained by the Office of Institutional Effectiveness for various Federal, State, and Institutional reports *Assist stakeholders with completion of surveys and reports *Facilitate the collection of data and report requests * Assist with follow-up on data requests to ensure request completion * Ensure timely delivery of complete reports and data requests to proper stakeholders *Completing other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent • Experience in higher education or compliance related role • Microsoft Office proficiency • Demonstrated experience contributing to and/or completing formal reports for compliance related tasks • Experience communicating with a variety of stakeholders to facilitate the gathering of information to complete necessary tasks
Additional Considerations
• Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field • Banner experience • Familiarity with accreditation processes and compliance frameworks in higher education • Experience with data entry or analysis
