About the Position:

George Mason University Athletics is seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy individual to serve as a DVSport Replay Technician for select home men’s and women’s basketball games. This part-time position plays a vital role in ensuring accurate and efficient video replay operations using DVSport software. This role is perfect for someone interested in sports technology, game operations, or pursuing a career in athletic event support.

Responsibilities:

• Operate the DVSport Replay system during all home basketball games;
• Tag and catalog plays in real-time for potential review by game officials;
• Coordinate with game officials, the scorer’s table, and the event management team to ensure timely and accurate replay delivery;
• Conduct pre-event system tests to ensure all hardware and software are functioning properly;
• Troubleshoot basic technical issues during live events, escalating when necessary; and
• Maintain a professional and composed demeanor in high-pressure, live game situations.

Required Qualifications:

• Strong familiarity with the DVSport Replay system;
• Attention to detail, especially under time constraints;
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders (officials and table crew); and
• Availability to work evenings and weekends for scheduled home basketball games.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience working with video replay systems or in a sports operations setting.
