The Data Quality Technician (DQT), reports to the agency’s Data Quality Analyst. As a member of the Data Office, this individual is responsible for improving and maintaining the quality, accuracy and completeness of VRS data, across all agency systems. The incumbent will help support enterprise-wide efforts to validate records, perform data lookups, resolve data discrepancies, and ensure ongoing data integrity. The ideal candidate for this position is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent, required. Associate’s degree or course work in information systems, data science, business or related fields, preferred; an equivalent combination of education and experience may also be considered
- Minimum one year experience in data entry, customer records management, administrative support, or related position
- Demonstrated experience in data analysis, data validation, and/or data management experience
- Experience working with spreadsheets, and data entry applications
- Experience in data quality, and/or business operations requiring accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365
Additional Considerations:
- Two or more years' experience in data entry, customer records management, administrative support, or related position
- Experience using SharePoint
- Experience using data quality tools
- Previous public sector experience

This position follows a hybrid work model allowing for up to two days of remote work per week (Monday & Friday); the selected candidate must be able to work in the office any day of the week, as required by the manager.
Wage employees are eligible to work up to 1500 hours per measurement year (on average 29 hours per week); benefits are not provided for this position.
Hiring Range:
$25-$30
