Job Duties

GENEDGE Project Managers are highly capable professionals that are responsible for
• Developing state of the art Digital Twin enabled solutions for manufacturing operations using leading edge software systems such as FlexSim.

The Digital Twin Project Developer works directly with our team, particularly the Engagement Consultant-Digital Twin Solutions, and leaders in manufacturing, engineering and technology companies. Delivery generally includes multiple resources and teaming partners for large scale programs and projects. At times, assignments will include third party subject matter experts which require management, as well as university-based student intern teams typically managed by programmatic reports to the engagement consultant.

Duties and Responsibilities
• The primary responsibility is to work with Engagement Consultant-Digital Twin to analyze, plan, implement and evaluate client projects related to digital twin
• They work with the Engagement Consultant and client executives to discuss & develop project targets, & then work to meet expectations.
• They discuss strategies with teammates and leaders to deliver the best solutions for the projects.
• They follow market trends to continue to develop the GENEDGE brand and to make improvements to existing products and services.
• They must network with clients, partners and referral sources to build relationships and sustain them.
• They may be expected to assist with preparing business proposals, gaining appropriate GENEDGE approvals, and presenting them to clients and prospects.
• They manage programmatic and project efforts with multiple resources & project deliveries as part of an overarching effort.
• They also deliver presentations and workshops to develop and inform leads and prospects
• Data collection and dissemination on different aspects of industry is also part of the job which helps the consultant advise a client and maximize the business performance of the client.
• They account for their program & project time and deliverables to trigger billing as required.
• They support administrative requirements to assure proper project management, closure, and impact collection and reporting.
• They stay current with existing practices and develop skills for new and improved practices.

Minimum Qualifications

Skills and Specifications

• The individual will have demonstrated knowledge and capabilities to program 3D digital simulation software to replicate factory, shop, and logistics operations.
• They must have efficient project management combined with strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
• A working knowledge of manufacturing operations.
• Ability to train and coach customers in the use of tools developed for their applications.
• They must have highly effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• They must be confident, outgoing and adaptable to change.
• They must be versatile and deal with clients from various walks of life, including small team leadership and participation in strategic engagements at the leadership level [business owner, President].
• They need to know about computers, web conferencing, cloud computing and follow the latest in technology.
• They also need to have good presentation skills.
• Selected applicants must pass a criminal records background check.
• Applicants must also currently possess or be able to obtain a Department of Defense secret security clearance.
• Willingness to travel to assignments as required.

Education and Experience:
• A BS degree in an engineering (such as industrial/mechanical or chemical) or equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience.
• A working knowledge of key processes such as logistics and operations
• Training and experience in digital twin application development and deployment or comparable skills and ability and willingness to learn.

Additional Considerations

Preferred:
* Coding knowledge and/or experience
While this is an entry-level position, 1-5 years of work experience in the field is preferred.
