Job Duties

This position develops eLearning (asynchronous) training, delivers technology courses, and organizational services to Department of Corrections’ personnel. This position evaluates training curriculum and training needs of target audience and aligns these with agency business practices.

Minimum Qualifications

Knowledge of adult learning theory and effective facilitation for in-person and virtual environments. Demonstrated expertise in designing, developing, and delivering eLearning (asynchronous) and instructor-led training. Knowledge of and demonstrated proficiency using and teaching the Microsoft Office 365 Suite of applications. Knowledge of and demonstrated proficiency using Articulate Storyline 360 in the development of online training. Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.

Additional Considerations

Demonstrated competence in the design, development, and delivery of online and instructor-led training using Artificial Intelligence tools for content generation. Knowledge of and high proficiency using a variety of eLearning authoring tools. Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices for online learning. Knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office 365 with Copilot to create, edit, and manage documents and processes that promote process efficiencies. Experience working in an adult correctional setting.  Department of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS) General Instructor Certification
