The Role
As a part-time Electrodiagnostic EEG Tech, you will provide need-based EEG coverage that helps the department maintain continuity of service when patient demand rises or regular team members are unavailable. You will bring practical EEG experience, sound technical judgment, and the ability to integrate effectively into an established clinical workflow.
Your average shift will center on delivering dependable EEG services while adapting to current patient-care and staffing priorities. This is a strong opportunity for a technologist who is already trained in EEG and appreciates the professional variety of PRN practice.
This position is particularly well suited to an experienced EEG technologist who is currently active in the field and interested in supplemental professional experience and income through flexible PRN shifts . Board certification or professional registration in EEG is preferred.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: Graduate of an accredited formal medical education program such as CVT, EMT, Paramedic, Radiography, Respiratory Therapy, Sonography, or Associate’s Degree or greater in a Health Sciences related field. Radiography Technician preferred.
Experience: Clinical patient care experience, 2 years or more strongly preferred.
Licensure: Maintains certifications in ACLS. Preparing for certification in PALS, with manager discretion. If grandfathered at Clinician 2, there is a 6-month window to meet ACLS requirement.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Job requires sitting/standing for prolonged periods and frequently bending/stooping/walking, reaching (overhead, extensive, repetitive); Repetitive motion (computer keyboard). Proficient communicative, auditory, and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly; Ability to lift/push/pull 50-100lbs. Ability to wear lead aprons for extended periods of time. May be exposed to chemicals, cold, dust, noise, radiation, blood/body fluids/infectious disease.
The pay range for this role is $33.27 - $53.23 hourly. Individual compensation will be determined by the selected candidate's qualifications, previous work experience, and/or education.

- Provide EEG services during scheduled PRN shifts based on departmental and operational needs.
- Help maintain essential diagnostic coverage during periods of high patient census .
- Support continuity of EEG services when full-time team members are absent.
- Apply current, hands-on EEG experience in a patient-focused clinical environment.
- Work collaboratively within an organized, positive, and cooperative Neurology EEG team .
- Adapt to variable scheduling and changing service needs while maintaining consistent professional standards.
