Position Summary:

The School of Business Business Career Services is inviting talented and qualified candidates to apply for the part time hourly role of Event and Marketing Coordinator. This position will report to the Director of Business Career Services.

Typical Responsibilities:

This role will play a pivotal part in organizing impactful events that enhance student success. By facilitating networking opportunities, workshops, and career fairs, this role will help students build essential skills, connect with potential employers, and navigate their career paths effectively.
  • Collaborate with the director to support the development and management of Business Career Services (BCS) programs and events such as career fairs, on campus Interviews, information tables, meet & greets, etc.
  • Collaborate with academic departments to support student-focused, co-branded career development programming including, but not limited to, department expos.
  • Assist with program and event management tracking and marketing using Google Suite, Canva, Handshake and Slate.
  • Manage event-related logistics including timelines, supply lists, shared google calendar, vendor orders, etc.
  • Assist with day of event logistics programming including setup, program materials, event management, event clean up, vendor management, volunteers, etc.
  • Manage catering orders for employer events, including, but not limited to, career fairs, meet and greets, informational tablings, expos, etc.
  • Lead event marketing, including content creation and timeline scheduling, in conjunction with School of Business Marketing & Communications.
  • Work on special projects and initiatives as needed to support Business Career Services and the School of Business.
