UVA Health is seeking a highly organized and proactive Executive Assistant, Senior to provide comprehensive administrative support to an executive leader within the health system. This role is critical to ensuring the efficient operation of executive leadership functions and supporting the coordination of key initiatives, meetings, and communications across the organization.
The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates sound judgment, and can manage competing priorities while maintaining a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-level administrative and secretarial support to a senior executive leader at UVA Health.
  • Manage executive correspondence and communications, including letters, memos, email, phone calls, and other incoming information.
  • Maintain and coordinate the executive’s complex calendar, scheduling meetings and ensuring alignment with organizational priorities.
  • Coordinate internal and external meetings and events, collaborating with staff and stakeholders to ensure they run efficiently and effectively.
  • Manage office operations, including ordering equipment and supplies and supporting day-to-day oversight of the departmental budget.
  • Maintain organized records and filing systems to ensure efficient information flow and accessibility.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures.
  • Provide additional administrative support and special project coordination as needed.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Education: High School Diploma

Experience: Five years of experience in administrative support role

Licensure: None

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings, and programs.

The pay range for this role is $25.72 - $45.68 hourly. Individual compensation will be determined by the selected candidate's qualifications, previous work experience, and/or education.
