This position provides direct, high-level administrative support to the Chief Operating Officer at Piedmont Geriatric Hospital. The Executive Assistant plays an essential role in helping the COO manage day-to-day operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, supporting strategic initiatives, and fostering effective collaboration across departments and with external partners. Key responsibilities include clerical tasks such as calendar management, meeting scheduling and documentation, project support and tracking, and assisting with communication and coordination between the COO’s office and other areas of the hospital. Additionally, the Executive Assistant independently manages logistics related to medical equipment, maintaining vendor relationships and ensuring smooth procurement and delivery. This role demands a highly organized, professional, and proactive individual who can represent the COO’s office with discretion and efficiency.

Minimum Qualifications
-Professional experience in healthcare administration or executive-level support required. -Experienced in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and scheduling platforms required.
Additional Considerations
-Knowledge of Joint Commission and CMS standards -Knowledge of regulatory frameworks -Associate or bachelor’s degree in business administration, healthcare management, or a related field is appreciated, professional experience in healthcare administration or executive-level support will be strongly prioritized. **Special Assignments--Project coordination skills: Experienced in tracking progress, managing deliverables, and reporting updates.
