Position Title: Full-Time Healthcare Lab Manager

Department: Health and Life Sciences

Employment type: Classified Staff

Duties and Responsibilities: This position is responsible for assisting the faculty in setting up laboratory scenarios, nursing skill lab modules, and coordinating the delivery of scenarios in multi-disciplinary activities. In addition, this position is responsible for providing administrative oversight to supply, reagent, and equipment orders, as well as maintaining the organization and good working order of these items.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Possess computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Programs
Additional Considerations:

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in a clinical health field.
  • Familiarity with IV pump machines, physiological monitoring systems – pulse oximeters, dopplers, infant incubators, and other common medical device systems.
  • Clinical knowledge and experience working in a healthcare related field such as EMT, paramedic, nursing, or other allied health profession certification and training.
  • Previous experience with medical simulation
  • Experience working with a student population.
