Position Summary:

The Department of Microbiology and Immunology is in search of a hourly lab specialist to assist in wet lab work related to tumor immunology studies.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Performing routine laboratory chores
Western blot
Flow cytometry
Cell culture
Record keeping and animal experimentation

Required Qualifications:

Masters of Immunology
Demonstrated experience working in and fostering an environment of respect, professionalism and civility with a population of faculty, staff, and students from various backgrounds and experiences, or a commitment to do so as a hourly employee at VCU

Preferred Qualifications:

One year experience in animal experimentation and immunological studies
