Hourly Teaching Assistant

The Mechanical and Nuclear Engineering Department of the College of Engineering seeks culturally and professionally diverse candidates to apply for Adjunct Faculty (open rank) position. Since its inception in 1996, the Virginia Commonwealth University College of Engineering has brought innovative, real-world engineering education to Central Virginia. Description of the Job:

The Teaching Assistant will be responsible for the day-to-day activities required to support the teaching goals of the
Mechanical and Nuclear Department. Specifically, duties include:

-Assisting the faculty member in the classroom with various duties such as grading, providing guidance to students, and other things as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

-MS degree is preferred or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
