Job Duties

To provide quality nursing care under the direction of the RN and as part of an interdisciplinary treatment team. Administer medications to patient and maintain accurate documentation in the Electronic Health Record. Provide therapeutic interactions with patients.

Minimum Qualifications

• Knowledge of illness and treatment modalities esp to include medication management
• Ability to implement nursing care plan and provide guidance to Psychiatric Care Techs as necessary
• Computer skills and ability to document without error in the Electronic Health Record required
• Skilled at communicating with a young patient population with special needs
• Able to communicate effectively at all levels across treatment teams and within nursing department
• Demonstrated knowledge of mental health psychiatric diagnosis, trauma-informed care, and treatments
