The Department of Medical Assistance Services (DMAS) is excited to offer a competitive opportunity to serve as the Managed Care Senior Systems Analyst. The selected competitive candidate will provide exceptional delivery of services to the agency’s Health Care Services Division.
Job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Provide technical support for all DMAS systems to support the business and operational requirements of the managed care program. Identify requirements, validate design, execute testing, and research/resolve issues.
Investigate complex member eligibility/enrollment and payment issues that impact managed care.
Research and analyze problems with a high level of technical expertise.
Ensure that the functionality and operations of all managed care enrollment and payment systems are compliant with all managed care business requirements. Implement system enhancements and fixes.
Ensure compliance with all necessary rules, regulations, standards and laws.

Minimum Qualifications
Competitive candidates will meet these minimum qualifications:
Considerable knowledge/experience of Medicaid, managed care, and/or health care systems.
Knowledge/Experience of tools such as Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS), SQL, and/or SAS.
Considerable Knowledge/Experience with information systems development including requirements definition, design validation, and testing.
Knowledge/Experience of requirements gathering including liaison with end users, documenting technical specifications for programmers, and user acceptance testing for systems changes.
Considerable Knowledge/Experience of Word, Excel.
Knowledge/Experience interpretation and application of federal, state laws/regulations.
Experience in meeting deadlines.
Experience with internal/external stakeholders.
