MSW Admissions Reviewer, School of Social Work

The School of Social Work is seeking to hire several MSW Admissions Reviewers to complete the following:

• Review MSW Program applications for regular standing admission for the
following semesters: summer, spring, fall

• Review MSW Program applications for advanced standing admission for the
summer and fall semester

• Participate in application second review processes and appeals as need

• Help with reviewing pre-matriculation writing diagnostics as needed

• Other duties as assigned

This individual will work with the MSW admissions team to review & score applications. They will participate in meetings with the Director of Student Success, Senior Recruitment Specialists, and Admissions team consistently. The individual must be able to dedicate at least 6-8 hours per week during peak admissions times (August-September; January - April).

Additional Details:

• $20/hour

Required Qualifications:

• Possess an MSW and at least two years of post-MSW practice experience

• Experience or willingness to learn how to use our CRM (Slate) and other
technology solutions (Canvas)

• Demonstrated experience working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff and
student environment or commitment to do so as a staff member at VCU

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Possess the organizational skill and flexibility to work effectively on multiple
projects simultaneously

• Experience working with Google Suite
