Job Description:
Come teach the next generation of nurses in a student-focused, team-oriented environment! We are accepting applications for part - time adjunct instructors for our Practical Nursing Program

Must reside in the (DC, VA, MD) DMV area.

Instruction may include a variety of modalities: face to face, remote, and online. Instructors will teach in a variety of setting: skills, lab and clinical. All applications will be received on a continuous basis.

Minimum Qualifications:

KSA's

Current unencumbered Virginia licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
Experience using Microsoft Office software (e.g., Word, Outlook) and ability to utilize current classroom technology
Must have the ability to provide student instruction in the classroom, lab, and clinical settings
Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as interpersonal skills
Annual submission of professional development, CEU’s and competence required

Required Qualifications:

Associate or bachelor’s degree in nursing
A minimum of 2 years of direct nursing care experience in the clinical setting

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience teaching in higher education
Experience teaching in classroom, hybrid, and online formats.
Demonstrated commitment to fostering a diverse, equitable, and inclusive working and learning environment.
