Job Duties

The Department of Medical Assistance Services (DMAS) is excited to offer a competitive opportunity to serve as the Provider Services Solution Lead. The selected competitive candidate will provide exceptional delivery of services to the agency’s Division of Program Operations.

Job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Provider Services Solution (PRSS) is the one of multiple modules of the Medicaid Enterprise System (MES).

PRSS provides an automated provider enrollment process, eligibility determination and ongoing maintenance.

PRSS provides oversight and management of the federal requirements for the CURES Act.

The PRSS Lead will support all functions related to the PRSS for both DMAS and the contracted Managed Care Organizations (MCOs).

This will include, but not limited to, provider screening, credentialing and enrollment, management functionality including managing demographics,
provider information, provider correspondence, search functions and help desk functionality, billing and reimbursement functions.

Minimum Qualifications

Competitive candidates will meet these minimum qualifications:

Considerable knowledge of implementing and managing large scale and complex systems.

Considerable knowledge to proactively and accurately identify and analyze existing processes and identify opportunities to improve and optimize current operations.

Considerable knowledge in project management principles and processes.

Considerable knowledge in developing policies, analyze and interpret data, and draw logical conclusions.

Considerable knowledge of utilizing computer software programs.

Experience in interpreting and applying federal state laws and regulations.

Experience in meeting deadlines.

Experience knowledge of facilitating training to both external and internal customers.

Considerable knowledge of contract management and monitoring deliverables.
