Job Duties

Responsible for the inmate recreation program at a major correctional center. Develops, coordinates, and delivers programs for inmates. Provides supervision of inmates during recreation period. Manages facilities and equipment. Responsible for community interaction and scheduling activities for inmates.

Minimum Qualifications

Working knowledge of major sports skills, rules, and regulations for proper participation in these activities. Demonstrated ability to plan and organize recreational program of athletics, arts and crafts, library program, and other leisure time activities for adults. Skill in Microsoft Office. Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing.

Additional Considerations

Experience providing recreational activities and supervising a recreational program. Experience in a Correctional or Law Enforcement environment.
