UVA Health Outpatient Surgery Center is a twelve OR facility that serves a wide variety of patients. Services include Pediatrics, Orthopedics, Neuro/Pain, Urology, GYN, Plastics, ENT, Eyes, General and Robotics. Our staffing hours are Monday through Friday from 0700-1730. compensated competitively with other traveler positions,
available in a wide variety of clinical practice opportunities, and
are offered in 13-week blocks, which may be renewed up to a maximum of 39 weeks.
$2,500.00 incentive bonus with first 13-week assignment.

We are looking for registered nurses who are want to work with an energetic and collaborative team. Travelers working in the Operating Room must have extensive experience circulating and scrubbing in multiple surgical services. Candidates should be proactive, and dependable problem-solvers.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program required. Bachelor of Science in Nursing required within 5 years of hire.
Experience: Varies
Licensure: Licensed to Practice as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia. American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Job requires standing for prolonged periods, frequently bending/stooping/traveling. Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly; Ability to lift/push/pull > 100lbs. May be exposed to fumes, chemicals, vibrations, humidity, cold, heat, noise, outdoor climate, blood/body fluids and infectious disease.
