Research Assistant, Educational Neuroscience Lab (Staff/Student Wage)

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented part-time Research Assistant to join our Educational Neuroscience Lab. The successful candidate will assist with participant recruitment, conduct mock scan training sessions, manage data, and occasionally support neuroimaging activities. This role is ideal for individuals interested in gaining hands-on experience in neuroscience research and contributing to impactful studies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participant recruitment: Assist in recruiting participants for various studies, including outreach, screening, and scheduling.
  
• Mock scan training: Conduct training sessions to familiarize participants with the scanning process and ensure their comfort during actual neuroimaging sessions.
  
• Data management: Organize, enter, and maintain research data, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  
• Neuroimaging support: Provide occasional assistance during neuroimaging sessions, including setup and monitoring.
  
• Administrative tasks: Perform general administrative duties related to research activities as needed.
  

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant undergraduate or graduate program (e.g., neuroscience, psychology, education).
  
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  
• Prior experience in research or neuroimaging is a plus but not required.
