Job Duties

To provide Psychiatric Rehabilitation/Recovery group work and individualized therapeutic activities with Wellness emphasis for individuals diagnosed with severe and persistent mental, emotional and behavioral illnesses, intellectual disabilities, developmental delays and/or substance abuse disorders.

•Demonstrated ability to communicate and collaborate well with treatment team members.
•Ability to work under supervision, guidance, and direction.
•Demonstrated ability to document clinical information.
•Demonstrates good organizational skills.
•Demonstrated skills of multi-tasking, resourceful and capable of working under pressure.
•Demonstrate familiarity with concepts such as life skills training, employment skills,
consumer skills, use of community resources and health / safety skills.
•Demonstrate the ability to co-facilitate a group, and one to one intervention as related to
employment skills, life skills and vocational training.
•Demonstrate appropriate boundaries between an aide and resident relationship within a
vocational setting.
•Demonstrate the basic knowledge of a Vocational program and its purpose.
•Ability to document appropriately.
•Ability to provide appropriate feedback on individual vocational readiness goals.

Minimum Qualifications

•Professional work experience with adults with serious mental illness and/or other disabilities.

Additional Considerations

•May need a Valid Driver's license.
•May need experience working with Medicaid and Medicare services.
•May need experience with implementing vocational programs.
