Job Description

The Lead Administrative Manager plays a pivotal role in supporting the operations of the Blackwood Department of Real Estate, with a focus on academic administration, human resources, and financial management. Reporting directly to the department head, this position oversees day-to-day operations with a high degree of independence and discretion. The goal: ensure seamless, efficient, and supportive experience for faculty, staff, students, and other stakeholders.

This role is central to keeping the department running smoothly behind the scenes. The Lead Administrative Manager will serve as a go-to resource, problem solver, and policy navigator in an environment that values professionalism, collaboration, and integrity.

Work Location & Flexibility:
To ensure comprehensive training and integration into our college culture, the Lead Administrative Manager will be fully on-site for the first six months. After this period, the role may shift to a hybrid schedule with up to one day of telework per week, subject to departmental needs.

Required Qualifications

•Strong commitment to customer service and stakeholder satisfaction
•Solid computer proficiency, including experience with data entry, tracking, and analysis

Preferred Qualifications

•Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field—or equivalent professional experience
•Experience working in a higher education environment, with familiarity in university systems, policies, and procedures
