Piedmont Virginia Community College (PVCC) is a nonresidential two-year institution of higher education that serves Central Virginia - principally residents of the City of Charlottesville and the counties of Albemarle, Buckingham, Fluvanna, Greene, Louisa and Nelson. Part Time Adjunct Faculty in Ceramics:
PVCC is currently seeking an adjunct faculty to teach in our respected ceramics program. Applicants must be able to teach beginner, intermediate and advanced students. Applicant should have solid knowledge of hand building and wheel throwing techniques, in addition to glazing. The ideal candidate will be passionate about fostering a deep appreciation of ceramics and successful at guiding all levels of students through their individual growth.

We are seeking to identify qualified and interested adjunct faculty members in the following teaching disciplines and/or subject areas: CERAMICS
Minimum Qualifications:The successful candidate will possess expert skills, knowledge, experience and education in the subject area and a history of successful teaching or related experience.
- Master's in teaching field or Master's with 18 graduate semester credits in teaching field.
Additional Considerations:- Two years teaching experience and/or work experience in the field, and experience with on-line teaching.
