Summary

We are seeking a dynamic adjunct instructor interested in teaching our foundational occupational therapy theory course. OCCT 594 is a 3-credit in-person course during the Fall semester that examines theoretical constructs underlying occupational therapy practice. It uses a historical framework to critically examine the ideas put forth by earlier frames of reference and current conceptual models of practice. Concepts integral to the understanding and use of human occupation are emphasized as a basis for practice as well as the dynamic relationships among occupational therapy principles, values and theories. This course is taught in-person and uses the Canvas course management system to support learning.

Responsibilities

• Coordination of and presentation of course lecture and lab content.
• Use of Canvas as the course learning management system.
• Grading of all content.
• Collaborating with faculty on interconnecting content with other courses.
