The Department of Medical Assistance Services (DMAS) is excited to offer a competitive hourly opportunity to serve as an Advanced Business Analyst. The selected competitive candidate will provide exceptional delivery of services to the agency’s Information Management Division.
Job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
This position requires analytical skills, problem solving skills, ability to learn and understand a variety of business processes, ability to communicate and collaborate with technical staff and business users.
This position will perform Analysis, Requirements Definition, and Testing for a variety of applications within the Information Management Development Unit.
In addition, this position will serve as a backup for the webmaster, performing maintenance to the DMAS Websites and SharePoint.
The position you are applying for is an Hourly/Wage position. Hourly (wage) employees may not work more than an average of 29 hours a week and cannot exceed 1500 hours during their employment year. This position does not include health insurance, retirement or leave.

Minimum Qualifications
Competitive candidates will meet these minimum qualifications:
Considerable experience with SDLC using Agile and/or Waterfall project methodologies.
Considerable experience serving as a liaison between technical and business staff.
Considerable experience with gathering and documenting requirements.
Considerable knowledge and/or experience analyzing and documenting the impacts of system changes.
Considerable experience with writing and executing SQL statements for data analysis and testing.
Considerable experience developing test cases and performing SIT testing.
Considerable experience with coordinating UAT testing and defect tracking.
Considerable experience creating training materials and providing training to business users.
Considerable experience with making website changes.
Considerable experience analyzing, interpreting, and applying federal/state laws and regulations.
Considerable experience meeting deadlines
Considerable experience communicating with internal and external stakeholders.
Additional Considerations
Competitive candidates should meet these additional considerations:
Experience using Oracle E-Business Accounting components such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable.
Experience using Oracle APEX applications.
Experience with SharePoint maintenance and providing user access to SharePoint pages.
Experience with performing Drupal maintenance.
Experience with performing Umbraco maintenance.
