Benefits Analyst

Position Summary/Overview:

The Benefits Analyst serves as part of a Benefits Team dedicated to providing resources and support to faculty and staff. This role is essential, as it allows faculty and staff to devote maximum effort to student success, research, patient care, and other critical functions to support the mission of the university.

The Benefits Analyst performs duties integral to ensuring that employees have uninterrupted access to and coverage by employee benefits programs. These duties include processing benefits enrollments and changes, reconciling participant records and contribution data, providing information to new and current employees, responding to participant requests and solving participant issues, and maintaining confidential records. Additionally, the Benefits Analyst runs and reviews reports for data accuracy and compliance, acts as a backup for Workers Compensation reporting, and works with departments on complicated matters around WC claims. The Benefits Analyst will collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to support various projects and lead sessions focused on Benefits education

100% in person through at least the 6 month progress review. Availability of a hybrid schedule can be revisited after the completion of the 6 month progress review.
