Clinical Research Coordinator (*Restricted)

Chief Purpose of this Position
The School of Nursing is seeking an experienced Clinical Research Coordinator with community health worker or community health outreach experience for studies led by Drs. Amy Salisbury and Lana Sargent. The Clinical Research Coordinator will assist with managing the day-to-day operations of studies focused on a Mobile Health and Wellness Program(MHWP), focusing on providing care coordination and access to medically underserved communities. Major duties for this position are described below in the following categories: (1) Research Coordination, protocol implementation & data collection; (2) Research Communication; (3) Oversight of research coordination at MHWP clinical sites; (4) Community outreach, (5) Other Duties as Assigned. It may involve weekends for community outreach events and local travel to MHWP sites.

General duties include:

- Lead teams and support the Principal Investigators by managing the day-to-day operations of the project.

- Lead efforts and conduct data collection at study visits (including clinical assessments and study consents); this will include days and occasional weekends, i.e., days/times that are most convenient for participants.

- Engage in effective recruitment campaigns and community outreach efforts, including regular communication with the study’s community partners.

- Maintain effective communication with research participants when engaging in participant recruitment, enrollment, tracking, retention, and data collection/ checking, including ensuring full and continuous informed consent.

- Maintain current CITI credentials for Human Subjects Protections, Good Clinical Practice, and other certifications as required.

- Support the research activities and team with other duties as assigned
