Title: Senior Admissions Counselor

Job Summary/Basic Functions
The admissions counselor will successfully manage a regional territory to support new student enrollment goals. They will establish a multi-faceted territory recruitment plan which will include significant travel to high schools and college fairs, planning and execution of regional events, application review, decision recommendations, and personal follow up and relationship-building with constituents within the territory. As an admissions team member, the admissions counselor will assist in the execution of on and off campus events, in addition to the performance of daily operational tasks including but not limited to group information sessions, individual admission counseling appointments, interviews, and special projects as requested.
Required Experience:
Prior experience in a liberal arts and sciences environment.
Additional Considerations:
KSAs
Experience with social media to promote the university and engagement prospective students.
Admissions recruitment experience in a similar higher education environment. Experience with the University of Mary Washington. Experience utilizing Banner and Slate. Experience managing social media accounts for professional use. Spanish language skills preferred.
