Job Duties

Position supervises the activities of inmates in the preparation and serving of meals for the population and staff. Trains inmates in all kitchen policies and procedures. Maintains a high standard of food safety, sanitation and quality in a cost efficient manner.

Minimum Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED. Experience working in a supervisory role. Experience working in a large volume food preparation environment. Basic knowledge of Microsoft office programs.

Additional Considerations

Serv-Safe Certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of employment. Working knowledge of food safety, sanitation, cost controls and operating and repairing food service equipment.
