IT Analyst Senior - Epic Beaker

The IT Analyst Senior - Epic Beaker is responsible for providing ongoing guidance for one or more related application modules or systems. This position will support the design, build, implementation, and optimization of the Epic enterprise Electronic Medical Record System (EMR). Utilizes a combination of programming and analytical skills to formulate/define system scope and objectives for the EMR which includes testing validating and implementing EMR screens used by clinicians performing and documenting patient care activities. Prepares test plans, documentation, and training materials; work with vendors to prepare technical specifications and scopes of work. Responsible for leading smaller internal projects and keeping track of team assignments as well as managing the workflow of clinics.

In addition to the Minimum requirements the ideal candidate will have:
• Knowledge of Data Innovation (Instrument Manager)
• Building / Updating instrument interfaces in DI
• Troubleshooting interfaces in DI
• Any knowledge of analyzers
• Certification in Epic Beaker CP
• Certification in Epic Beaker AP

  • Responsible for coordination and performance of analysis design development testing validation and implementation of EMR screens used by clinicians performing and documenting patient care activities leveraging system functionality to support clinical process and organizational goals.
  • Understands the use of clinical computer applications which assist in the management and processing of clinical information and delivery of health care services.
  • Provides ongoing support of the EMR system and the end-users.
  • Under general supervision formulates and defines system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding to develop or modify moderately complex information systems.
  • In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned.


Position Compensation Range: $43.04 - $68.86 Hourly

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education: Bachelor’s Degree

Experience: 5 years relevant experience. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Licensure: None required

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Job requires sitting for prolonged periods. Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly.
