Job Duties

VDOT NOVA District is seeking a Part Time Program Management Coordinator to provide support to NOVA District Maintenance Program Manager and the District Infrastructure Managers.

This is a part-time position, averaging around 29 hours per week M-F during business hours, with no State benefits.

Duties will include:

Review and research expenditures and prepare data for journal entry corrections in Cardinal.

Provide guidance on proper coding of expenditures.

Run reports upon request.

Enter, review and correct fiscal data for Specialty Teams in Cardinal as well as HMMS (HMMS-Highway Maintenance Management System).

Review budget data.

Support the snow program administratively.

Minimum Qualifications

Experience developing and managing multiple budgets and financial documents.

Extensive experience in Excel, Power BI and Word.

Ability to interact and communicate orally and in writing with internal and external customers.

Ability to multi-task

Additional Considerations

Knowledge of Maintenance procedures, policies and practices.

Knowledge of state and federal transportation rules, regulations and funding policies.
