Job Duties

Supervise and perform the following painting duties:
1. Responsible for the selection and application of vamish, polyurethane, primer, paint, and other specialty coatings
2. Choose premixed paints or mix the required pigment, oil, thinning or dyeing
substances to match the color spec.
3. Mask and prepare structure surfaces for coatings
4. Blend and reduce paint systems and apply paint to meet specifications
5. Repair and/or remove surface imperfections
6. Perform exterior and interiorpainting of commercial buildings, equipment, structures, etc.
7. Prepare and protect worksurfaces with drop cloths and masking
8. Responsible for loading, unloading, preparing, and cleaning of job sites, materials, and tools
9. Responsible for the setup and execution of tasks on scaffolding and tadders
10. Utilize brush, spray gun, or paint roller to accurately paint various surfaces
11. Install specified nozzles in sprayguns, replace screens and filters, and maintain
the sprayer equipment
12. Provide quality work and take corrective action for conditions that may affect job
quality

Minimum Qualifications

1. Considerable supervisory experience for commercial or residential painting.

Additional Considerations

1. 5 years of supervisorypainting experience.
