Job Duties

Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) have specialized psychiatric care nursing skills and assist individuals served with mental health recovery. LPNs are often responsible for medication administration and related duties, provision of physical or medical treatments, may take admission calls, assist with unit routines, and other duties under supervision of a RN

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of Virginia prior to beginning role.

Additional Considerations

• Experience in a psychiatric, healthcare facility, acute care, long-term care, or correction
setting is preferred.
