Job Duties

A responsible professional position that utilizes initiative, professional judgement in researching, analyzing, and evaluating data and operational functions to ensure quality management across the state in conjunction with current departmental policies and procedures. Employs the necessary analytic tools to analyze operational issues with regard to expected outcomes, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement, analyzing root causes, reporting findings and recommending improvements to management.

Minimum Qualifications

• Knowledge of the principles and techniques of project planning and management.
• Demonstrated ability to prepare, edit and oversee the preparation of complex documents.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively analyze and organize documents submitted from organizations, document oral and written argument from licensees and the general public.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Working knowledge of the principles of regulatory practice and considerable knowledge of the techniques of conflict analysis and resolution.
• Demonstrated capacity for self-directed work; evidence of applied analytical skills and ability to plan and organize work projects; and knowledge and use of personal computer and software packages related to word processing and data management/analysis, including sufficient understanding of layout and design to prepare print.
• Demonstrated ability to provide timely and appropriate technical assistance to a wide range of individuals (e.g., licensing staff, providers of child day programs, management, public officials, etc.) seeking assistance with understanding and/or solving problems related to policies and procedures, and/or regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with members of a team.
• Able to take the lead to coordinate efforts of the committee to layout objectives, goals, and target dates for assignments.
• Experience using software applications including Word/Excel, Google suite apps, teleconference tools, and online data collection and reporting systems.

Additional Considerations

• Supervisory experience is preferred.
• Working knowledge of Adobe Acrobat Pro.
